Bullying happens in every school everywhere, your really not going to be able to avoid it. You will see it, hear about it, or experience it. Well here at Bedford High, it doesn't happen much at all. A fight here or there but other than that the only bullying I see is verbal. It is not a huge problem and to tell you the truth I don't think the new system of dealing with it will work. Yes you are going to get the bully in trouble, but 9 times out of 10 that bully will believe that it was the person they were bullying "told on them" and just make the bullying worse. Hopefully after being reported several times the bully's punishment will increase however some peoples twisted minds think that when they get in trouble its funny. So this new system didn't do any good at all! It is a better way to deal with it than before though. Bully's do need to be stopped I don't know how it will end but until we find a way this is the best we have. I don't mean to be this negative about it but these are the faults I have found.
I think your opinion is sometimes true, but I do believe that Bedford's new bully system could work. Some people might think you are tattling, but if the situation is life threatening, you should tell people! But if it is verbal, I agree with what you say most of the time.
